I did also have some "Bad tuner - using a different tuner" errors in the Vista Media Center history, but I occasionally got these with my Nova-T , and it never seemed to result in an actual failed recording; both tuners do work on the new BlackGold card, as I manually force tested a dual record.

However, yesterday I experienced the "Video errors"s again - so, I force uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it again. Checking under the Device Manager and the BlackGold appears to be detected and present and "This device is working properly", but it isn't visible to Vista Media Center, so I can't set it up. I tried force reinstalling the driver again, and rebooting a few times, but no change - Device Manager says "fine", but Vista Media Center doesn't list the tuners.

So - it would be useful to hear how others are getting on with this card. I'm slightly suspicious about the issues I had at the very beginning, as if something didn't happen correctly on initial driver install, and I'm still being impacted by these - running on a clean install should help identify whether this was the problem.

If I still have issues then, then I'll drop a line to BlackGold support I'll post back when I've had a chance to wipe my installation and had the card running for a few days again.
