I got what you might call ''value'' parts, but at the sweet spot. Sometimes the CPU is cooler than the chipset! I had to make a boot floppy to configure the RAID, and I wasn't intending to include a floppy drive, but I had to for this.
Probably never use it again. Motherboard stability is excellent. Drivers and monitoring software are excellent. BIOS interface is above average. I'm getting great performance out of it. So, why the 3 stars? The chipset fan went out. The chipset fan problem can be found all over the Internet.
