It was 3 degrees outside but the radiator was off in our room so it was quite chilly. We turned it on and it quickly warmed up. The food in the restaurant was fine but standard pub grub.

The property is very close to the centre but has a feeling of being on the outskirts with the river running past and a lovely seating area overlooking the water. The restaurant is romantic and the room was clean, comfortable and had excellent amenities fan, tv, water, good bathroom etc. Despite being next to a road the room was quiet. It was New year's day, nobody should be that cheerful!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at this guest house. Our room was spacious and extremely clean, and the staff were all really friendly.

We also had a fantastic view from our window, and we went to sleep listening to the sound of the river! The restaurant area downstairs was also really nice, and I loved the atmosphere there plus the chips were very yummy!
